Brian Searle

QBE Accountant, with over 30 years of experience working with organisations ranging in size from start-ups to multi-nationals. A “hands-on” individual, Brian is a strong all-rounder, being knowledge gained in Business Process, Management Reporting, Budgeting, Financial and Statutory Accounting, Compliance and Audit (including SOX processes and testing). Extensive International experience, a quick learner, with excellent IT skills, including MS Office, Business Information Tools (Discoverer, Decision Support) and ERP/Accounting Packages (incl. PeopleSoft, Oracle, Xero, Cin7, MYOB and Reckon Hosted)

Originally from the UK (London) and now based in Auckland, New Zealand.

During his career Brian has worked across numerous organisations, and is adept at building strong relationships with management and customers of various backgrounds. These have included Business Owners, Directors and Operational Management all the way through to support staff in overseas subsidiaries (including Africa and the Middle East). Brian’s affable nature sees him easily able to build rapport with individuals across the bredepth and depths of organisations, and to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Brian has built a solid history of producing results, managing staff, understanding risk and dealing effectively with customers, both internal and external. All these achievements are critical to organisations competing in today’s difficult economy.
