Fence Repair and Retaining
The homeowner’s boundary fence was leaning toward their neighbour’s property. The cause appeared to be as a result of the difference in ground levels on either side of the fence, and the fence not originally being designed to cope with the lateral force from the higher ground on one side.
We consulted and engaged the services of one of our specialists partners to come up with options, and discussed these with the homeowner.
The final solution involved dismantling the existing fence, replacing the existing fence posts with larger stronger posts, installing additional retaining posts and a retaining board along the boundary line. Finally, the fence was reconstructed using much of the original fencing timber in between the new fence posts.
The end result was a cost effective and tidy looking fence, now suitably designed and constructed to remain straight and upright.
