Originally from Brazil, Joy’s career spans roles in both New Zealand and South America, including managing import/export operations for global logistics firms and serving as Finance Manager for a busy Auckland-based retreat and wellness centre. Since relocating to New Zealand, Joy has developed a strong grounding in local financial practices, including payroll, GST, budgeting, and end-of-year reporting. She is especially valued for her structured work style, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with teams across different time zones.

In her current role as Finance Associate with UpYield (via Sadler & Associates), Joy supports a portfolio of digital businesses, ensuring timely reporting, accurate reconciliations, and smooth coordination with European-based accountants and internal stakeholders. She combines financial acumen with strong systems capability and a proactive, calm approach — making her a trusted contributor to the wider team.
