Replacement Gazebo Panels:

Our client had purchase a kitset gazebo from a homeware & hardware chain store only a couple of years ago.

The 6mm polycarbonate panels had already deteriorated, developing holes across the upper surface and allowing rainwater, dirt, and grime, into the fluting, becoming unsightly.

We liaised with our contact at that same chain store, and they in turn contacted the gazebo manufacturer (their supplier) who provided options for replacement of the damaged panels.

Not satisfied with the options provided by the manufacturer though (we felt they were too costly), we continued to investigate other options. Our director also made contact with one of his former commercial banking clients (a supplier of similar building products).

After presenting a number of options to the homeowner (including different types of sheet products, at different price points, and with differing warranty terms), the option chosen by the homeowner, being the product offered by the commercial building products supplier (our director’s former banking client), came in at almost one-third the price of some of the other options.

Ultimately, we were able to supply and install a professional, high quality, commercial grade, 8mm TwinWall Polycarbonate sheeting product, with a 15 year warranty, and without the unnecessary price mark-up of the other options, including those offered by the original gazebo manufacturer.

The end result, and the best result, is a very happy homeowner. A homeowner who now has the peace of mind, and comfort, of knowing that they not only have high quality protection from the sun and other elements, but also the confidence of support from ‘SB Property Services’ locally, and the nation-wide brand and product support from our various providers and partners.

During:

The new polycarbonate sheets were trimmed down to size using high-precision machinery - measure twice, cut once (actually, the measurements were double, triple, and quadruple checked).

The metal frames were scrubbed and cleaned with warm water and detergent.

Then the new polycarbonate sheets were taped around the edges, before being installed into the frames.

Before:

The damaged surface, being covered in holes from exposure to the elements, meant rain and debris was getting inside the fluting of the old polycarbonate sheets.
