Tidy walkway area between external stairs and shed - around the side of house
Finished outcome:
The homeowner had an area down the side of their house that was in desperate need of being tidied up.
Following discussions with the homeowner about what their preferences were, we undertook the following works:
Remove weeds and debris
Lift and clean existing paving stones
Even out ground surface
Remove and dispose of surplus old gravel & dirt
Lay down new weed mat
Supply and position 3x new larger paving stones
Re-position old paving stones
Supply and spread new ornamental river stones
Final wash down of walls and surrounding surfaces
The finished result was a tidy, low maintenance, practical looking space which was exactly what the homeowners were looking.
Before:
The area was messy, overgrown with weeds, and the ground surface and stepping stones were uneven.
During:
We tidied up the weeds and debris, removed excess old gravel and dirt, evened out the ground surface and laid down weed matting.
Stepping stones were then laid out, evenly measured, to ensure aesthetics and functionality. Finally, new river stones of the homeowners choice were spread across the area.
